RSB Schalungstechnik
RSB Schalungstechnik was originally founded in 1978 as a designer, manufacturer and distributor of special formworks for axisymmetric structures, such as cylinders, cones, spheres, tunnel linings. The company, which assumed its present name in 1999, has 90 employees around the world. Some 40 of these are based at the home factory in Fussach, on the shores of Lake Constance in Austria.

The company prides itself on short assembly times, meeting deadlines, operating on a fixed price basis for the entire planned construction time, and customizing the scope of its services to the needs of specific projects and clients.

RSB formwork technology is applied to the full variety of structural shapes completely and economically. The company is continuously developing this technology, sometimes seeking non-conventional approaches, in order to improve its formworks systems. A cooperative management style has been cultivated in which all employees respect each other, where personal and professional development is promoted, and a healthy working atmosphere is created and maintained. This policy is reflected in the company’s business, social and civic relationships, which are oriented towards the long term and are based on trust. As a result, RSB has a good image and first-class relations with partners and public alike.

RSB sees the world as its marketplace. RSB lining formworks were used in road tunnels at Rustenfeld in Austria and on the A4 at Jena in Germany. Three Austrian railway tunnels, at Atzenbrugg, Hankenfeld, and Saladorf were lined using RSB forms, as were the canal tunnel at Dovodnog in Croatia and the headrace tunnel at Ermenek in Turkey.

In addition to the above projects, RSB has also been active internationally in Belgium, Japan, Singapore, Sweden, Spain, China, and Ireland.
